Sustainability has been a constant throughout our history and, while others are just starting out, we continue to work every day to generate a positive impact on our environment.
We can only understand our passion for carpets if we take care of the environment and are aware of our social responsibility.
We care for people
We develop strategies to improve the lives of artisans, with a particular focus on India, Pakistan and Nepal, the countries in which we produce. Since 2002, we have donated part of our purchasing volume to the Care & Fair association to ensure that their sons and daughters have access to education.
We take care of the planet
We make sure that the entire chain, from the design conception to the choice of materials, processes and techniques, is as environmentally friendly as possible. In 2013, we joined forces with Indian biochemist Charmaine F. Sharma to support one of her major developments in the fight against environmental degradation. These are Eco-sheen & Jutex, biodegradable and chemical-free products that we incorporate into the process. In addition, we use recycled and organic materials in our products. For example, we use 100% recycled PET in our Outdoor collections.
We are committed to sustainable development
We support artisan work and the preservation of the local economy, promoting its development. We design long-lasting rugs that do not participate in disposable consumption and that promote recycling.
We are aware that there is still much to do and we work every day to find new solutions that minimize our impact in the long and short term.
