2.2. Description of nanimarquina products

Hand-made rugs, being a craft product, may have small, unavoidable variations in size and colour compared to the original model.

The maximum size variation that a rug can undergo is 5% of its total size. The decrease or increase can affect both the width and length of the rug.

The threads used to make the rug are occasionally held together by small threads, which may appear on the surface of the rug due to friction during use, such as vacuuming. They are an inherent quality of the rug due to the handcrafted process and the natural, hand-spun wool. If necessary, the threads can be hidden by using a crochet hook to pull them to the underside of the rug, out of sight.

Due to the natural characteristics of some fibres, carpets tend to leave a lot of lint. Frequent vacuuming is recommended. For maintenance and cleaning, we recommend following the detailed instructions on the label on the back and in the brochure that comes with the carpet. More information here .

We recommend rotating the position of the rug to avoid possible fading effects from prolonged exposure of the rugs to sunlight.

Shading or water effect can appear on short pile carpets, made using hand tufted or hand loomed techniques.

This effect is due to movement due to the different inclination of the pile or the pressure exerted by the packaging system and disappears with the use and care of the carpet. It is not a manufacturing defect and does not alter the quality of the product or affect its durability. Nanimarquina will not accept any claim related to the water effect.

Long pile carpets - Due to the length of the pile, these carpets may leave more lint than usual for a certain period of time. Vacuum regularly. As vacuuming may stretch the threads, in case of loose threads, smooth them out with scissors.

The rugs in the Bicicleta collection are hand-made from recycled materials; therefore, exact size and appearance correspondence between the pieces is not guaranteed. The worn and relatively dirty appearance is typical of products made from recycled materials.

The colour of the carpets, applied to materials such as wool and subjected to environmental light conditions, may be subject to alterations with respect to the colour of the original samples. In no case is there a total guarantee of chromatic fidelity.

Please note that colour stability is not guaranteed when dyeing plant fibres and may result in shade differences.
All rugs are handmade, which means that their colour may vary slightly from the samples shown in the catalogue. These variations do not represent manufacturing faults, nor do they affect the quality or durability of the product.

Due to the type of paper used to print this catalogue, slight colour differences may be noticed between the images and the original colour of the rugs.

Placing an order implies acceptance of these conditions and manufacturing defects are not considered, so returns will not be accepted.

2.3. Product availability and offer coverage

All orders for products are subject to availability and, in this regard, if there are difficulties with the supply of these products, or if there are no items in stock, we reserve the right to provide you with information about substitute products of equal or greater quality and value that you may be able to order. If you do not wish to order such substitute products, we will refund any amounts you may have paid.

The products found on the Website are available for online sale exclusively in Spain (mainland and Balearic Islands only), as well as in our own Showrooms in New York and Barcelona or in distributors accredited as official Nanimarquina distributors.

2.5. Purchase procedure

2. The shopping cart will contain the name of the selected item, a photo, unit price, quantity and price (including taxes, not including shipping and assembly costs). For the rest of the countries, the price is reflected in dollars and may vary depending on your geographic location, taking into account our rate.

Nanimarquina shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of any of its obligations under a contract that is caused by events beyond our reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event").
"Force Majeure Events" shall include any act, event, failure to exercise, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and shall include in particular (without limitation) the following:

Nanimarquina's performance obligations under any Contract will be suspended for the period that the "Force Majeure Event" continues, and the time periods for performance of the corresponding obligations may be extended for the duration of the "Force Majeure Event". Nanimarquina will use all reasonable means at its disposal to bring the Force Majeure Event to an end or to find a solution by which we can perform our obligations under the Contract despite the Force Majeure Event.
